Topic and Thesis Development

Above is my cluster of possible points to make in my next essay. I chose the topic of privacy for celebrities because I have noticed the negative effects media and paparazzi have had on celebrities, their fans, and our society. I also have thought about how the people of our society, mainly celebrities, would benefit positively by allowing celebrities more privacy than they are currently given. This is a controversial issue, due to the fact that the media has long made a profit from invading the privacy of celebrities, but I believe that celebrities should not be so personally invaded and harassed in this way. Therefore, my thesis could be something along the lines of...Celebrities should have more privacy and be given more control of how they appear in the media. I may extend my thesis or change it as I am writing this paper, but this is what came to mind right now.
